Isaac

Isaac was born and raised in San Diego, CA. A class of 2020 graduate of La Jolla High School, Isaac is currently pursuing an associate degree prior to transferring to a 4-year college to major in Biology.  He hopes for a future career in marine science or biotechnology. Isaac started his journey at Windan’ Sea Veterinary Clinic as an Intern during his senior year of high school in Jan. 2019 as part of the Project Lead the Way Biomedical Program.

He then officially began full time veterinary assistant at Windan’ Sea in May 2020 amidst the beginning of the pandemic.  Isaac took some time away from Windan’ Sea in May 2022 to focus on his academic studies, knowledge, and work experience. During this time, Isaac began working at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and briefly at an Animal Rehabilitation and Acupuncture Center.

While grateful for his experience away from the clinic, Isaac missed working with his second family, and rejoined in September 2023 where he is very happy to be back at his second home.
